Care that begins with your situation.
Preparing for pregnancy can bring questions, appointments, and uncertainty. Your visit begins with listening to your goals, current concerns, and any medical evaluation or fertility treatment already underway.
Care focuses on concerns such as stress-related tension, sleep difficulties, and physical discomfort. We discuss what matters to you and review your response over time.
Support alongside your medical care.
Acupuncture is offered as complementary care. It does not replace a fertility evaluation, prescribed treatment, or care from your OB-GYN or reproductive endocrinologist. You do not need to postpone appropriate medical evaluation to begin a conversation with us.
Please tell Jacob about fertility medications, planned procedures, and any possibility of pregnancy. Your plan should take these into account. Discuss supplements or herbal products with your fertility clinician before using them.
Clear expectations, without promises.
Acupuncture has not been established as a way to improve pregnancy or live-birth rates. Research results vary, and we do not promise improved egg quality, implantation, or IVF success. Our role is to offer individualized supportive care and realistic conversations about your needs.
Stress is not a personal failure, and difficulty conceiving should never be reduced to a need to relax.
Your first visit.
We discuss your history and concerns, assess what is appropriate, explain the proposed care, and agree on next steps. You can ask questions before deciding whether to proceed.
